Recently I photographed the various World War I memorial tree plaques located in Memorial Park next to Town Hall on Fifth Avenue in Pelham. The plaques honor Pelham citizens who lost their lives in military service to the nation during World War I. The plaques no longer grace the trees planted in reminder of the fallen soldiers. They long since have been moved to small stone pedestals located in the park.
Below are images of each of the nine markers. Beneath each photograph, to facilitate searches, I have transcribed the text of the pertinent marker.
